The other one is the guy whose first single Chillin It is on the charts – it’s Cole Swindell – who you’ve known longer than you think. Cole is a singer- songwriter who’s written songs that have been recorded by Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Scotty McCreery, Thomas Rhett & Chris Young.
Besides new music, this year is also bringing a new you. Self Improvement seems to be the theme for 2014 and People Magazine is highlighting a couple books that will help you do the trick, no matter how you want to improve yourself –
The first is totally up Doc’s alley – Evolution by Joe Manganiello. He’s an actor who’s big and muscley and you should totally want to look like him. Besides a 6-week food and exercise plan, this book encourages you to value ambition, hustle and a healthy mindset. – Doc, totally up your alley.
The second takes a page from the song of the year from 2013, Mama’s Broken Heart. The book is called Not Your Mothers Rules, the new secrets for dating – this one is sure to be a hot book this year b/c it’s written by the authors of The Rules, Ellen Fein & Sherrie Schneider.

Montgomery Gentry’s Eddie Montgomery has filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in Lexington, KY. The singer lists $13.4 million in debts and $1.9 /. million in assets, due to the abrupt closure of his restaurant, Eddie Montgomery’s Steakhouse, last May. – and he just got divorced, so that didn’t help. Eddie’s home in Boyle County, KY is on the market for $1.25 million if you want to help him out.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day! Duck Dynasty’s Robertson family and it’s company,Duck Commander, are creating a new line of camouflage shotguns, two semiautomatic rifles and a semiautomatic pistol imprinted with the Duck Commander logo. The shotguns have already started to ship to distributors around the country.
