Dierks Bentley flew to Boston to cheer his wife Cassidy on as she ran the Boston Marathon this weekend! Dierks and family members found a spot at “Mile 17″ to cheer her on and Dierks shared some funny tweets along the way. At one point he tweeted that she was running for margaritas! He also tweeted, “I’ll be one of the million with a sign, shouting and drinking!”
On a more serious note, Dierks also shared a text that Cassidy had sent him just prior to the race that said, “I’m thinking of last year and everything that people endured… Running for love.”

Running for love (and margaritas) must have inspired her, because she finished the 26.2 mile race with a time of 3:33:38 — about an 8-minute mile pace! Gorgeous AND fast. You go, girl!
