Rodney Atkins teenage son is lucky to be alive after getting in an accident with a drunk driver.

According to Taste of Country, Rodney told fans yesterday his son had recently been in a bad accident.

At the time he revealed news of the accident, Rodney was on stage and in between songs during a performance in Minnesota.

Thankfully, his son, Elijah, was not injured during the ordeal, however his vehicle was totaled.

A car can be replaced, but your children cannot.
