Earlier, several publications confirmed that the body of a missing college student had been found.
According to People Magazine, Mollie Tibbetts, 20, had been missing from a small town in Iowa for a little over a month before her body was recovered.
Mollie, a student at the University of Iowa, was reported missing after not returning from a jog.
Now, authorities have revealed her remains were discovered in a corn field in Guernsey.
A 24-year-old male has since been arrested in the case.
He reportedly showed officers where to find Tibbetts' body.
Christhian Behena Rivera is an illegal immigrant who had been living in Iowa for several years.
He has since been charged with murder.
Rivera allegedly approached Tibbetts while she was running. The woman felt uncomfortable by the encounter and told Rivera she was going to call police.
Tibbetts continued on her run, but Rivera chased after her and abducted her.
It's not clear what happened in between the time she was abducted and her body being left in the corn field, as the suspect told police he blacked out during the ordeal.
