Surprise! Lady Antebellum just signed a deal with a new record label.

In late August, it was rumored that the trio was leaving Capitol Nashville, but the news was not confirmed until today.

Prior to signing with Big Machine Label Group, Lady Antebellum had worked under Capitol Nashville for 10 years.

According to Taste of Country, Hillary Scott said the group is exciting to now be a part of the BMG family, adding they've watched the record label grow and dominate the industry over the last few years.

This is the band's first record label change since they burst onto the country music scene a decade ago.

Big congrats to Lady Antebellum on their new record deal!
