A NASCAR driver took to Twitter earlier to share disappointing news with fans.

Earlier in the season, Kasey Kahne revealed that he would retire at the end of the season -- Citing medical issues as the culprit.

In truth, racing has taken its toll on Kahne's body, and he knew it was time to step away from full time racing.
