Maren Morris gave us the track list for her upcoming release of ‘GIRL’ and has since release the title track as well as ‘The Bones’ from the album.

Morris shares the lyric she relates to the most in the single.

“I think the lyric I relate to the most in ‘GIRL’ is ‘I don’t want to wear your crown there’s enough to go around’. It’s like I don’t want to fit into the box of someone else’s version of success or beauty. I get to decide that, and we all do for ourselves. So I think line really spoke to me an emotional way because we are all so unique and I think that’s a beautiful thing you don’t have to fit into a box of someone else to feel validated or to matter”

Morris’ second album GIRL will be released on March 8th. The day after the release she will launch her Girl: The World Tour with special guests RaeLynn and Cassadee Pope. Morris will make a stop in Philadelphia on April 26 at The Fillmore.
