"As we posted earlier this week, we regret to inform everyone we’ve decided to end Walker McGuire. We want to thank everyone for their support and for following us on our journey the last five + years. You guys can keep up with both of us at @jordanwalker2 & @mcguirejohn"
There has yet to be an explanation for the split but John McGuire posted on his personal Instagram page alerting fans of new music coming soon.
The duo was signed to Broken Bow Records' Stoney Creek Records.
