The former Super Bowl MVP, Nick Foles will be a free agent announced Howie Roseman, the Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the Eagles, announced Wednesday February 27.
“After a lot of conversation, we think letting him become a free agent is the right thing to do,” said Roseman.
Foles can sign with any team beginning March 13.
Foles became the Philadelphia Eagles starter after Carson Wentz suffered a season ending knee injury in December of 2017. He led the birds to a Super Bowl win against the New England Patriots and this past season got the team back into the playoffs.
