Following the tragedy in New Zealand where 50 people were killed in a terror attack targeting two mosques in the city of Christchurch, several country stars including Tim McGraw, Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerina took to social media to express their sorrow.

One country star that had yet to address the tragedy was Keith Urban, who was actually born in Whangarei, Northland, New Zealand and moved to Australia when he was a kid.

Tonight (3/17), Keith shared his thoughts on Instagram saying, "My family and I send prayers for ALL who’ve been affected by this indescribable hatred. - KU‬"

Urban just returned from playing Australia and Europe and will be back playing shows in the U. S. in May.
