Instagram game is strong. Perhaps too strong. Gwyneth’s 14-year-old daughter, Apple, was mad to find an image of herself on her mom’s page.
Earlier this week, Gwyneth posted a photo of herself with Apple skiing. It all seemed innocent enough.
After the image was posted, Apple left a comment: “Mom we have discussed this. You may not post anything without my consent,”
Gwyneth replied back, saying that Apple’s face was barely visible. That’s true, most of her face is covered by ski googles
We understand the comment could be a joke with Apple teasing her Mom. But it does bring up an interesting point about kids and their right to privacy.
Some people were on Apple’s side, saying that children should be given the right to decide if they want their image on their parents’ social media for everyone to see. Others brought up that Gwyneth has complained about paparazzi invading her privacy in the past
Other people disagreed. They said Gwyneth was just a proud parent that wanted to brag about her daughter. They also said that Gwyneth shouldn’t have to justify herself to her daughter.
