THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!!  The James Beard Awards where in Chicago last night and Zahav won “Best Restaurant!”  This is basically considered the Oscars of food.

Zahav’s current menu features hummus with a daily chef’s selected topping, duck and foie gras kebab and a concord grape sorbet with poached quince and peanut baklava.

Michael Solomonov won Best Chef two years ago, and now the restaurant came with it!

Solomonov’s restaurants also include Goldie, Dizengoff, Abe Fisher, The Rooster, and Federal Donuts.
