Bryce Harper is usually the most famous person at Citizens Bank Park these days, but today he was trumped by Bruce Willis!
Willis was in town to throw out the first pitch, but also made an appearance during batting practice. And actually hit a few pitches from batting practice coach Dusty Wathan.
Willis grew up in Carney's Point, NJ and has always been a Phillies fan.
According to 6 ABC,
"I just like to hit the ball," Willis said in his red pinstripes. "I just like the noise. I grew up with the Phillies."
Willis chatted with some players and Phillies coach Gabe Kapler. Kapler told 6 ABC that he still believes that 'Die Hard' is not a Christmas movie,
"I maintain, not a Christmas movie," Kapler said during a lively debate with beat writers in his office. "Aren't most Christmas movies centered around the celebration of Christmas in some way or another?"
I'm sorry Gabe, but you're wrong. 🙂
