Guy Uses Eric Church’s ‘Springsteen’ to Propose to Girlfriend [WATCH]
Okay, get the tissues ready before you watch this! High school sweethearts Kaytlin and Clark attended University of Georgia and Clark decided to pop the question in a special place using a special song to the couple.
Clark said:
Kaytlin and I have been dating for nearly five and a half years, and we are high school sweethearts. Little did she know, I was videoing every moment and capturing every memory of our relationship and saving it for this proposal. I took Kaytlin’s family on a “tour” of Sanford Stadium (GO DAWGS!), and I played this video on the Jumbotron before I took a knee. I worked on this project since my sophomore year at the University of Georgia, and it was tough keeping this a secret for so long. I used the song ‘Springsteen’ by Eric Church. The Chief always talks about the feeling you get when a melody and a memory connect, and says it’s one of the most powerful things in the world. Every single time I hear this song, I am transported back into time, and I relive these very special memories with Kaytlin. Although I am musically impaired, and quite frankly cannot carry a tune in a bucket, I still sing this song to her all the time. “It’s funny how a melody, sounds like a memory.” Kaytlin said yes, but not before I struggled getting the ring box open haha. It was a beautiful moment that I will never forget. I cannot wait to continue making memories with Kaytlin. We will travel the world, go to more concerts, see Mickey, have a family, and love God, each other, & others for the rest of our lives.
