Brunch With Brian: Cafe’ Lift
With all the bustle of getting stuff done before the 4th of July, I’m a little late getting this in.
My next “brunch stop” took me to Narberth and the second location of Cafe’ Lift on Montgomery Ave. The restaurant has a big following after opening their original location on North 13th Street near the Rail Park.
Cafe’ Lift features a delicious elevated brunch menu every day of the week, plus if you get there early between 8 & 9am you can take advantage of their “Early Bird Menu” featuring 6 delicious items including bottomless coffee for just $7.
I love when brunch is elevated and Cafe’ Lift gives a big “lift” to you brunch favorites.
If you’re craving something savory, they have terrific egg dishes like their breakfast burrito and their Polish Benedict with smoked kielbasa, sauerkraut and mustard hollandaise.
This morning I was in the mood for something sweet. Their take on French Toast is drenched in a cinnamon vanilla custard, then baked and topped with fruit and homemade whipped cream. To say it was decadent would be an understatement.
So if you’re looking for a good way to give your day a “lift”, Make the trip to Cafe Lift’, you’ll be glad you did.
