Winnie's is another one of my "go-to places" for brunch located the heart of Manayunk with fresh locally sourced dishes and a variety of comfort foods for breakfast lunch or dinner, even a drink after a long day.
Usually I go for the savory stuff, like a benedict or an omelette and Winnies has a wide variety such their Avocado Toast which you can have with poached eggs or "The Cure" which is a big skillet with practically "everything but the kitchen sink!!!!!!"
This week my sweet tooth was telling me to dive in, so I had to try their very special "Creme Brulee French Toast" made with glazed brioche, vanilla custard, berry compote, a carmel type cream and whipped cream. No doubt this was to die for!!!!
So the next time you take a stroll thru Manayunk, walk on over to Winnie's and be their guest.
