Averaging about 300+/- miles per day through some of America’s most beautiful country, we will make our way North to join up with other riders for the Dream Ride Experience Weekend.
This ride is first and foremost a charity ride benefiting Hometown Foundation. We ride to raise awareness and inspire a sense of community and respect, acceptance and inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Meeting Special Olympics athletes, first responders, veterans and community leaders at stops along our journey is the highpoint of the ride. Greeting us with hugs and smiles these athletes will light up your day. Be ready for an experience like no other.

In addition to the athletes, we have some great riding ahead taking us through eight states, starting at PGA National Resort, Palm Beach Gardens and ending at the Marriott in Farmington, Connecticut. We begin our journey starting at PGA Resort & Spa up to the Hilton Garden Inn, Tifton, GA for our first night stop. In the morning we head up to the Appalachia Mountains of northern Georgia to Copperhead Lodge, a scenic 40-acre resort in the Appalachian Mountains along a winding creek and near popular road enthusiast trails such as The Dragon’s Tail, Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway, and The Gauntlet. Departing Copperhead Lodge we make our way from Georgia up to North Carolina traveling the famed 209 The Rattler on our way to Hot Springs. After an incredible ride, we will stop for lunch in Hot Springs before making our way up to Little Switzerland. Our overnight accommodations are at the Switzerland Inn overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We head out the next morning for yet another incredible ride. This morning we will ride some beautiful roads on our way to lunch hosted by Freddie & Carol Snow at The Depot Restaurant at Cody Creek located in Dobson, NC on their 40 acres of rolling farm and pastureland. Some of our favorite athletes will be there to join us for lunch. After lunch, we head out to Lynchburg, VA for our next overnight stop at The Virginian Lynchburg, Curio Collection by Hilton in downtown Lynchburg. The next day brings us through some beautiful roads as we head up through the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest and up through the Monongahela National Forest. This is Pocahontas County known for its

spectacular country roads, miles of panoramic mountain vistas and the proclaimed Highland Scenic Highway. Our lunch stop, is at the Greenbrier Grille & Lodge overlooking the scenic Greenbrier River in Marlinton, WV. After lunch, we cruise up through the Monongahela National Forest to Cabins, West Virginia and the Smoke Hole Caverns & Log Cabin Resort located in the Seneca Rocks/Spruce Knob National Recreation Area. From Cabins we travel over to historic Gettysburg, PA for lunch hosted by Kennie’s Markets at Battlefield Harley-Davidson. Then it’s up to our last overnight stop in the ride at the Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel in King of Prussia, PA. The next day we leave for our final leg of the ride to the
Hartford Marriott, Farmington, CT where we will be greeted by a huge crowd of athletes and Dream Ride spectators waiting our arrival.
