Luke Combs Sets A Record On Billboard Country Album Chart
Luke Combs has broken a country music record as he now has the distinction of having the longest reign ever for a male artist (44 weeks) and second-longest for overall following Shania Twain’s Come On Over in 1997 (50 weeks) at number one on the Billboard Country Albums chart with his debut project This One’s For You.
Meanwhile, his latest single “Beer Never Broke My Heart” tops the Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart this week at number one. This is Combs’ sixth consecutive number one and his fastest rising single to date (13 weeks).
Combs will continue his massive, sold-out “Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour” this fall including newly confirmed stops at San Diego’s Pechanga Arena, Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, San Antonio’s AT&T Center, Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center, Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre (two nights) and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena (two nights).
Last night, Luke posted a cute video of a young fan singing his latest chart topper, writing, “Sing it buddy! Watch out for that spider though!!”
