New Jersey Town Mourns the Loss of Beloved Peacock After He Was Found Shot

Y'all, this is my community.  And we're all heartbroken.

Last week, Popeye the peacock (or Pete as I knew him) was found with a wound on his leg.  A nice neighbor took Pete to a local Veterinarian and the wound turned out to be a gunshot.  The wound was infected and Pete ending up dying.

Pete lived in our community and brought joy to many.  Nobody knows who shot Pete, but we're all heartbroken.  Anyone that has details should contact the East Greenwich Police at (856) 423-4322.
