Farmers’ Almanac Predicts ‘Polar Coaster’ This Winter!
Whoa! You better stock up on bread and milk now! Looks like we are in for a wild run this winter! I can’t lie, I do love winter more than Summer, but this seems a little too much snow. Ha!
“We expect yet another wild ride this winter, with extreme temperature swings and hefty snowfalls,” Pete Geiger, editor of the Almanac said.
“This may mean frequent freefalling precipitation as well as strong and gusty winds. January 4-7 and 12-15 could, depending on where you live, mean copious amounts of snow, rain, sleet, and ice,” the Almanac warns.
The Northeast, including Pennsylvania, can expect colder-than-normal temperatures and above-normal precipitation.
The almanac warns of “not only a good amount of snow, but also a wintry mix of rain and sleet, especially along the coast,” for our region.
