Keith Urban On Early CMA Male Vocalist Win: ‘So Humbling’
Keith Urban is up for the Male Vocalist of the Year award at tonight’s (11/13) CMA Awards in Nashville.
He hasn’t won that particular honor for a few years. “In 2004, I won Male Vocalist of the Year, and again it was that same feeling I had when I’d won the Horizon Award, but it was like the next level. It just felt so humbling really. Really to be in that category and then to win was again just one of those sort of moments that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”
Urban is also up for the night’s biggest honor of Entertainer of the Year, an award he won from the CMA last year.
Keith posted on Instagram from his CMA rehearsal yesterday afternoon, “#WeWere • #CMAawards”
The 53rd CMA Awards will air live from Nashville tonight on ABC.
