Stray Malnourished Dog Finds Forever Home in Philly after Walking into House During Storm!
WHAT A STORY! Not to sound cheesy, it really is a Christmas miracle. I hope someone makes a movie about this. Not only the dog, but how the door was left wide open, the dog went inside, then a complete stranger shut the door with the dog inside. The whole story is a movie!
Here are the details from our friends at 6abc:
A malnourished dog literally walked into a house during a storm and found a forever home! Jack Jokinen said he and his family woke up to a malnourished dog on the first floor of their Fishtown home. Jack said a few hours before, he was walking his dog, George, and remembers coming back home and shutting his door that functions with an electric lock. It appears the door didn’t shut all the way and an early morning storm blew the door wide open while he, his wife and one-month-old child slept upstairs.
On their video camera, it shows the dog wondering into the house in the middle of the night! What’s even crazier, their door was wide open in the middle of the night! A random guy was walking by, thought it was weird the door was open, so decided to be a good person and shut the door. He didn’t know the stray dog was in the house!
I just woke up to this puppy in my house and we have no idea how it got here. pic.twitter.com/OZMystNsZE
