Local Couple Shares Incredible Story of Getting Engaged at Eagles/Cowboys Game!

I am such a sucker for love...a hopeful romantic I like to call myself, so when I heard this story I knew I had to share it!  Yes, we know the Eagle season ended a few weeks ago, Ed called into to my show to give a shoutout to his finance Frances. I thought it was so sweet so I asked him when is the wedding, etc, which led him telling me about how he proposed to her at the Eagles/Cowboys game!!!  I gasp and said, ED, this is an amazing story, can you send me some pictures so I can post about it?  And not only did he send pictures, he also sent their love story, and proposal which is so great and so thoughtful!  Congrats to Ed & Frances, even if she's a Cowboys fan.  Ha!

My name is Edward Rainas , I was single for about 2 years ,finding myself again after the breakup with my ex of 9 years ! I was on 3 different dating websites and just couldn’t find my angel .,couldn’t find that one who I could stay on the phone with for  hours at a time . My mother said , “ Ed maybe you are trying to hard, just let it come to you when the time is ready “. Mother know best so I took her advice and stopped with the dating sites ! About 1 month after that I stopped at Blackwood CVS for bandaids ! While in the checkout line, I seen a glow around this beautiful woman behind me . Her smile just melted my heart and I seen stars in her eyes ! She was wearing a University of Pennsylvania hospital jacket with her name on it “frances “ ,,I asked her if she worked there and she stated yes .. I proceeded talking to her , explaining that I am a union carpenter and I maybe put on the new construction hospital at Penn .. as we walked outside still talking out of nowhere I heard honking steadily coming from a vehicle next to Me , fran said that’s my daughter and she turned beat red ! We both said have a good day and went on our way ..In my head I thought darn it , I didn’t even ask for her phone number , but I did remember her name on her jacket so I looked her up on FB .. I found her !!!!!! So I decided to message her on FB ,.. “ picture of what was said “ ..After dating for 2-1/2 years I decided it was time to pop the question .. I designed a beautiful ring from Jared’s in Deptford NJ ,.. The manager Jared helped me with every single detail which meant the world to me ! I also wanted this to be a special day for her so I also had a bought a ring for her 15 year old daughter ! Frances and her daughter are Dallas fans and I’m a die hard Eagles Fan , so what better way can you ask the most beautiful woman in the world to Marry you !!

I made a lot of phone calls to get us on the field so I can ask her to marry me and also I had jerseys made .. so I called Dallas Texas , Dallas cowboys stadium and had her jersey made and mine made at the eagles stadium!  I even had it down to the numbers matching the date of our engagement ! The eagles jersey is number 12 and said “ Will You” and  the Dallas jersey number 22 said “ Marry Me “!! .. I had some of her family there and some of mine on 12/22/2019 ... we plan on getting married either April 2021 in key largo or June 2021 in Avalon NJ , still undecided ! There is so much more to this story but this is a short version of how I found my angel ! We also both love helping people ,, With her being a nurse manager and me being in the army for 4 years also a volunteer fighter/emt , it was meant to be !!!
