Derek Jeter Misses Unanimous Hall of Fame Vote by One

The Baseball Hall of Fame votes are in and Derek Jeter and Larry Walker received the top votes and will be inducted into to Cooperstown this year.  Former Yankee great, Jeter, received 396 of 397 votes. Making him one vote shy of unanimous.  It is the second highest percentage ever (99.7) to Mariano Rivera’s 100 percent.  As expected, social media exploded with reaction, some good and some bad, while some were in disbelief that he missed a unanimous vote by just one!   Read the reactions here - the induction will be held in July
