GettyI'm still in shock over Kobe, his daughter Gigi, and the other passengers from the helicopter crash. I think it's extra shocking because he was so famous and it happened in such a shocking way. Think about Prince or Michael Jackson even Whitney Houston, it was shocking, but they were older and we knew they struggled with drugs. This is harder because it was so tragic and children are involved. Not to mention that he's from Philly!
Not only was he born here, and went to Lower Merion, but he LOVED the Eagles. LOVED them. He actually spoke to the team the year they won the SuperBowl.
This is one of my favorite videos. His wife Vanessa captured the moment of how excited he was the Eagles won the SuperBowl. It's him as a fan being filled with pure joy.
