On Second Thought: Ocean City Now Says TOO SOON to Call Beaches Closed

Earlier today, the City of Ocean City, New Jersey said beaches would be closed for Memorial Day.   Now officials are walking back that statement adding, "it's too soon to know what will happen amid the coronavirus outbreak."  Citing the first priority being the health and safety of people, city officials say it's too soon to know exactly when a definitive decision will be made.  As you can imagine, the original announcement of a beach closing didn't sit well with anyone!  We live for summer in the NorthEast.
