If you hear a community ringing bells, it’s usually a sign of communal gratitude, a tradition since the American Revolution. Sunday evening at 7pm across Pennsylvania, communities will be ringing church bells honoring the front-line workers of the coronavirus pandemic.
Sunday is Bells Across Pennsylvania Day. Church bells will ring for three minutes. The Pennsylvania State Mayors' Association is organizing the event. Churches all across Pennsylvania are encouraged to participate.
