- Astronomers say they've found the closest known black hole to Earth - just 1,000 light-years away.
- CNN reports two companion stars gave away the hiding place of the invisible celestial body. The stars can actually be seen by the naked eye on clear nights in the southern hemisphere.
- Astronomers noticed that one of the stars was orbiting a hidden object every 40 days.
- Will hitting a black hole become the space travel version of going into the ditch? How much will that towing bill cost? Just kidding, there wouldn't be anything left to tow.
