It's never fun having to go to the DMV, but now you may not have to physically go there!  New Jersey and Pennsylvania both introduced guidelines for getting stuff done at the DMV without going in person.

In PA, non-commercial driver's licenses can be renewed online or through the mail. Those using the online option at www.dmv.pa.gov can expect their new license to arrive in the mail within 15 days.   Expiration dates on driver’s licenses, photo ID cards, learner's permits and camera cards scheduled to expire from March 16, 2020 through May 31, 2020, have been extended until June 30, 2020.  However, not everyone can avoid a trip to the DMV, if you need to go you can find open locations here.

Meanwhile in Jersey, the state tweeted a list of what you can do online including driver’s license renewals, vehicle registrations, lost licenses, suspension restorations, address changes and more.
