Brantley Gilbert likes to release personal songs; many of those can be found on his latest album Fire And Brimstone.

He told us, “I think at this point, I wear my heart on my sleeve in my music. A lot of people choose social networking to do that. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that but for me, I’m little old school and I say what I have to say on my records.”

Also, from his first album to his latest one, Gilbert has always described his albums as chapters of his life, and he says, “If I’m telling people these are chapters of my life and these songs are things that I’ve been through, I don’t have a choice. If I don’t put those songs in there, I’m just not being honest. I’m not being real.”

Brantley just released a new song called "Hard Days." He posted to Instagram, "I'm so proud to sing this song #bgnation.... I hope it reminds you that the hard days never last very long.... There's always hope just around the corner.... #harddays."
