Open Containers Are Now Permitted on Atlantic City Boardwalk!
I know people have wanted this for a while, and now it’s finally here!
Mayor Marty Small Sr. issued an executive order Monday temporarily permitting open containers of alcoholic beverages on the Boardwalk, Gardner’s Basin and the Orange Loop. He said it’s to help the small businesses affected by Covid.
The designated open container zones include: the Boardwalk between Sovereign and Rhode Island avenues; non-residential areas of Gardner’s Basin; and, the Orange Loop, comprised of New York Avenue, Tennessee Avenue and St. James Place.
