After months in hiatus as the pandemic put a stop to touring, Garth Brooks seems to feel that things are about to get back to normal.

Garth said in his Facebook Live Monday night (6/8) in the midst of some gear, lighting and video screens, “Slowly…here we come. [We] finally get to start back up and kinda do what we’re supposed to do. Cool things are happening,”

Brooks appeared to be at rehearsal on a soundstage.

He added, “All I can say is this Thursday, you’re going to find that we can all be back doing our thing again…following all the rules…but in a larger number than we ever expected. It’s gonna be cool. We will be apart together.”

Garth recently rescheduled a couple of his stadium dates, one (Charlotte) for October and another (Cincinnati) with a date TBA.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
