I honestly had no idea that this was still on TV, nor that it was on for 30 years!
A spokesperson for Paramount Network says that it has no "current or future plans for it to return." A 2018 article by Tim Stelloh called the series "the most polarizing reality TV show in America," and Rashad Robinson, executive director of the advocacy group Color of Change, said "Cops" represented "the very worst of the way poverty and crime and communities of color are shown on TV."
