Lady A's Dave Haywood says that when he became a father, he became more emotional.
He told us, “I was already a softy before I had kids, and so now having kids I’m definitely even more emotional.”
Dave thinks fatherhood has had that effect on him because having kids just put everything into perspective for him. He says, “Watching them learn things for the very first time, explaining and teaching things to them and watching them learn on their own it’s unbelievable. It’s so fulfilling to see the way that they see the world.”
Lady A just released their new song, “Champagne Night,” last month, but since they had to cancel their Ocean Tour due to Covid-19, they’ve all been hanging out at home and choosing to look at the extra time with their kids as a blessing.
