Carly Pearce and Kelsea Ballerini have been friends since before either of them were well known country stars.
As Carly told us, the girls actually met when they were both starting their careers. She said, "Kelsea and I met years ago before ‘Love You Like You Mean It’ came out for her in a girl’s support group in Nashville. It was just to build up different female artists and we became really good friends."
Pearce said that Ballerini helped her friend after she got success, saying, "She was so kind and wanted me to come out and at each stage of her career. I have opened shows for her and been on the road with her. And she’s been such an amazing insight... she has so much insight and advice and really has championed my music and she didn’t have to.”
Carly just celebrated the number one success of her song "I Hope You're Happy Now."
