Due to the number of positive cases continuing to rise the city of Philadelphia has paused some of its reopening plan to move to the green phase on Friday (July 3).

Philadelphia is pausing reopening indoor dining and the opening of gyms and fitness centers to at least August 1.

Also announced Tuesday was a travel advisory for those traveling to and/or from Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.

If you are traveling to one of those states the city is asking you self quarantine for 14 days.

However, on Friday, museums, libraries, indoor shopping malls, and small indoor and outdoor gathering will reopen in Philadelphia.

Casinos will also be allowed to open but with strict requirements such as wearing masks, social distancing of 6 feet between patrons, and no food, beverages, or smoking allowed indoors.
