Effective immediately, all Pennsylvania residents are required to mask up whenever they leave their homes. Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine, who signed the order Wednesday, says not only does wearing a mask help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, but it’s also the courteous thing to do. “My mask protects you, and your mask protects me,” Levine says. “Wearing a mask shows that you care about others, and that you are committed to protecting the lives of those around you.” Governor Tom Wolf says wearing masks could have prevented recent outbreaks in the state.
