The Major League Baseball schedule was released today. There will be two nationally televised games on Opening Day July 23: The World Series champion Washington Nationals will travel to the Bronx to take on the Yankees at 7pm and then later that night, the Giants will play the Dodgers in L.A. at 10 pm. The other teams will begin play on July 24th and the regular season is scheduled to end Sept. 27.  The Phillies will open at home on the 24th and host the Marlins.  The Yankees are next with a series that begins July 27th.  Read more about how the season play will progress from ESPN.   There are also several rule changes for this year:  universal DH, three-batter minimum for pitchers, and extra innings start with a runner on second base.
