Will Smith turned down the role as did Joaquin Phoenix. According to Variety, Jude Law has been cast as the villain Captain Hook in Disney’s new live-action remake of Peter Pan, titled Peter Pan & Wendy.
Jude Law will be joining newcomer actors Alexander Molony as Peter Pan and Ever Anderson as Wendy.
Sources say the release is expected to be theatrical and not go the Disney Plus streaming route.
