For the past two years, random golf balls have been showing up in parking lots, lawns and the streets of Palmyra, New Jersey.  And nobody can figure out where they're coming from.

And it's not just a ball here or there, sometimes 3o+ golf balls showed up in the parking lot of a local car dealership.

According to Lebtown.com,

“I have no idea. Honestly, it’s been an ongoing thing,” Scott Rhine said Wednesday. “It’s crazy.”

Rhine is a manager at Klick Lewis, a new and used car dealership on East Main Street. He said golf balls started appearing on the car lot and surrounding streets 18 to 24 months ago — and it hasn’t stopped.

“There’s been no damage,” he said. “It’s not an issue, it’s not a problem with vandalism. They just randomly appear.”

The most golf balls found in one day at the dealership was 65.  And it's a phenomenon all over the city of Palmyra.  Residents have golf balls in their yards and businesses find them in their parking lots.  There's no damage to any property, just a lot of old golf balls.

Nobody can figure out why or where they're coming from.
