Heads up! It’s one of the most popular meteor showers for stargazers every year and this week the Perseids are going to put on a show! The meteor showes typically are active from mid-July through the end of August, however, this week it is peak viewing time! More specifically Tuesday and Wednesday. Clouds and the moon’s position could muddy things, but you should see some bright rays of light fly through the sky…all the result of Comet Swift-Tuttle. USA Today has more details.
