Early ACM winner Thomas Rhett (Video of the Year for “Remember You Young”) is also a nominee for Entertainer, Male Artist and Album (for Center Point Road) at Wednesday night's (9/16) award show.

Thomas will also also be performing on the show. He told us, “So, me and Jon Pardi have yet to play ‘Beer Can’t Fix’ on national television, so me and Jon are gonna link up and play ‘Beer Can’t Fix’ together.”

Even though they’ve only ever performed the song together one other time, at last year’s CMA Music Fest, Rhett offers, “I think we’re just gonna go in and rehearse for an hour or so, and then try to just get out there and do it. That’s kinda me and Jon’s style, too. We don’t really practice much together. It’s just kind of like whatever happens ends up happening.”

He adds, “Jon brought a little choreography bit so, we might be dancin’ up there. It might be really fun.”

The ACM Awards will air live for the first time from Nashville, hosted by Keith Urban, this Wednesday night, September 16th, at 8pm ET/7pm CT on CBS.
