Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett Tie For The ACM Entertainer of the Year Award

For the first time in Academy of Country Music history or any country awards show, the coveted Entertainer of the Year honor ended in a tie ,with Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett sharing the honor.

Underwood said upon receiving her third Entertainer trophy from the ACMs, "2020, man! Thank you God so much, all glory to God. Thank you to the ACMs for putting me in incredible company. I am more than happy to share this with Thomas Rhett. I am beyond honored."

Underwood then thanked her band and crew saying, "You guys hold on it will happen again. Just hold on. Thanks to the ACM you all made us fee; so safe tonight. I'm just glad that we got to celebrate."

Rhett, who is a first-time winner in the Entertainer category said, "What is happening right now? Thank you to the Lord Jesus Christ." He then thanks his crew, team and family.
