The 72nd Emmy Awards got off to a hot start on Sunday night- literally.

"The Morning Show" star Jennifer Aniston took stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to announce the first award of the night being for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

In a way to bring attention to the importance of sanitizing, the host Jimmy Kimmel heavily sprayed the envelope with Lysol before placing it into a trash can and setting it on fire.

Aniston, who was ready with a fire extinguisher, began trying to put out the small fire so the duo could read the results. Instead of being extinguished right away, it took several tries from Aniston to put out all the flames. You could even hear someone in the building yell "put it out!"
