Maren Morris took to social media to post her heartbreak over the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg; Ginsburg died on Friday.

Maren posted to Instagram, "The real O.G. of law and order. RIP RBG."

She also posted in her Instagram stories a list of things RBG has done for women which included the right to have a job and be expecting a baby and the right for women to have a mortgage just to name a few.

Morris also posted on her Twitter after seeing what some people had written about Ginsburg's death, "I see the people with 'I love Jesus' in their bios rejoicing in her death. Tomorrow, take the crosses and the Bibles from your home and drop them at Goodwill so someone more deserving can use them."

Meanwhile, while backstage on a Zoom press conference at last week's ACM Awards, Maren said of winning Female Artist of the Year among such great women, "The award is just so monumental. The women who have gone before me and won that award, that’s who I really should’ve thanked. I am so inspired by every single woman in that category. I am friends with every woman in that category."
