Two Philly-Area Apple Orchards Named Best in the United States!
Fun fact about me, I’m allergic to apples. It’s a birch pollen allergy where I can’t eat fresh apples, peaches, pears, plums, cherries. If it’s cooked, it’s totally fine. Isn’t that weird? I’ve been putting apples in the air fryer though and it’s SO good!
Here are the the two local orchards that made the list according to The Daily Meal:
- Highland Orchards, a 200-acre farm not far outside of West Chester, Chester County, that dates back to the early 1940’s.
- Delaware County’s popular Linvilla Orchards, a 300-acre family farm in Middletown Township.
I never went apple picking before but now I want to and find my husband like a Hallmark movie. HA!
