Weekdays 3PM-7PM

I live right by Macy’s in Center City and I’ve been there over the last few weeks.  I kept thinking, what are they going to do about the light show?  It’s been decorated for Christmas since October and the organ was even playing when I was there last week, so maybe they were practicing for the virtual show?

Here are the details:

A spokesperson for the company said in a statement the light show and the annual Dickens’ Village display will be available online as part of a new virtual experience “to ensure a safe experience for kids and their families as well as our colleagues.”

Macy’s said an online show will take viewers on a “light filled journey through popular Christmas stories” and will feature the sounds of the famed Wanamaker Organ.  The virtual show will be available online from Nov. 27 to Dec. 24.
