You can add another iconic item to the list of things of a bygone era. The Ikea catalog, printed for the last 70 years, has had its last edition. The company shared the decision to stop printing the book was “emotional but rational” as interest has been declining for a few years now. The catalog has been online since 2000 and that’s where it will live from now on. If you miss looking through the pages, the Ikea Museum has all the back issues.
