Carrie Underwood's Next Album Will Be Gospel Hymns She 'Grew Up Singing'

Carrie Underwood announced on Christmas Day (12/25/20) that her next album project will come soon and will be a gospel album called My Savior.

Carrie posted a video to her social media channels on December 25 wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and saying in part, '"I wanted to keep making music like the music off of the 'My Gift' and I am here to announce right now that I did that, I went ahead and made some more music I made an album called 'My Savior' which is hopefully just a little companion to 'My Gift' and this album is full of gospel hymns that I grew up singing."

She posted, "Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and something NEW for the New Year. Praying for better days ahead. #MyGift #MySavior."

Underwood said the album will be out "just in time for Easter 2021."
