Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild took to her Instagram stories last night (1/11) to share a message with her fans.

Karen wrote, "We must do better for our children. Lay down the hatred and self righteousness. Come together and want better for each other. Put away the violence as it only leads to other violence. Stop justifying bad behavior."

She added, "It's our personal responsibility to lead with love and responsibility to lead with love and by example. Praying we will spread this message over the next days. Character matters."

Meanwhile, Little Big Town was part of the recent former Bee Gees member Barry Gibb's new album of country collaborations, Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers' Songbook (Vol. 1). Karen posted to Instagram, "Well, some things you can’t even dream up. Thank you Barry for having us and [producer] Dave Cobb for these beautiful recordings. #lonelydays #howdeepisyourlove."
